Aaron C. Jeffery is a Logie Award-winning Australian-New Zealand actor. He is best known for his parts as Terry Watson in Water Rats and as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters as well as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and he moved to Australia at the age of 17 years old. He was a student at NIDA. He graduated with his NIDA degree in 1993. Following that was his first television career working on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is most well-known for his performance in McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in 2008. He was also a part of the third season of New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was also seen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. Filming ended on June 22. A few days later, Jeffery was announced as Bradley Fox's replacement on Neighbours for two months. The news was that Jeffery was selected to play a corrections officer on Wentworth in October. He also starred in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. In April 2021 it was revealed that Jeffery was to be cast in the upcoming Netflix thriller Pieces of Her, which is adapted from the Karin Slaughter novel of the identical title. Jeffery's role on McLeod’s Daughters earned him the Silver Logie in 2007 and 2004.
