She is also a Film Actress and TV Actress, Film Producer, Screenwriter & Soap Opera Actress. Born: in San Juan (Puerto Rico) Roselyn Sanchez RodrAguez, is a Puerto Rican actress She grew up in Puerto Rico with her mother and father as well as three of her brothers. Despite having a constant interest in the entertainment world, Roselyn decides to study marketing at the University of Puerto Rico. After three years, Roselyn decides to quit everything and follow her dreams of dancing, singing, and theater. At 21 years old she left New York City. In 2001, she performed extremely well in the film Rush Hour 2. She is divorced from Gary Stretch. She has just remarried with Eric Winter. Sanchez has also appeared in beauty contests and models. In 1993, she was named Miss Puerto Rico Petite and following year, she won Miss America Petite. Not content to sit back and wait for roles to be offered to her, she appeared onstage in New York in her own one-woman show , Out Here on my Own and was the first Latina character on the long-running soap drama As the World Turns in 1996. After playing the role for a short time after which she was offered the main role as Lili Arguelo in Fame L.A. The show lasted just one season, but Sanchez soon landed a supporting role in the feature film Held Up (1999).
