Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy, born on the 25th of November, 1968 was a Canadian actor from Canada. Her most well-known role is on American television's Law & Order where she was the prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons and Crossing Jordan for six. She has also acted as an actress in films such as RoboCop 3: Most Wanted and the indie film Chutney Popcorn (which she also co-directed) and The Acting Class (which was written by her). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat vendor and an executive in sales and marketing. This position required many trips and led to frequent family moves. Maxine Her mother, also known as Maxine, died in the year 1982. She left her daughter in the care of Eleanor Her paternal grandmother. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline Hennessy is her identical twin sister. Jacqueline is a journalist in Canada. Hennessy is a mix of Irish, French French, Swedish and Italian heritage from her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma on the mother's. After graduating from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both located in Kitchener), she went to Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also busked on the Toronto subway. Her sister and she made their acting debut as twin callgirls on 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's actress, says she was shortlisted for Dana Scully, The X-Files role. She was also in the 1988 film Dead Ringers as twin call girls. Dick Wolf signed Hennessy in 1993 for the role of Claire Kincaid, an assistant district attorney, in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role was played by her for three seasons, and left the show in 1996.
