Camren Renee Bicondova, an American
dancer and actress, is from San Diego, California. Her fame is primarily due to
her role in the Fox crime-drama Gotham, as Selina Kyle. Bicondova started
dancing at the age of 6 and, after her family moved to Hawaii, she studied at a
local dance academy in which she learned different styles. By age 11, she had
become an elite protege for "The PULSE on Tour" dance convention that
toured across the country as an assistant to the top dance choreographers and instructors.
Also following the success of her show, she was able to attract the attention
of the world in the 2012 dance-drama, Battlefield America, her all-girl dance
group, 8 Flavahz were runners-up in the seventh season of "America's Most
Popular Dance Crew". In 2014, she was featured in the DC Comics-inspired
show, Gotham, and earned an Saturn Award nomination for "Best Performance
by a Younger Actor in a Television Series" in recognition of her
performance during its debut season. Variety's annual Youth Impact Report
listed her as an artist who "represents Hollywood's next generation of
talent and savvy in September 2015." Aside from her TV and film roles,
Camren has also appeared in a number of music videos by artists including
Krewella and Ciara as well as lends her support to many charitable causes ,
such as The USO, NOH8 Campaign, Global Citizen Festival and North Shore Animal
League America.
